Can You Romance Characters in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes?
The short answer is, no, there is no form of romance or marriage in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Unlike in the recent mainline games, there are no S rank supports to unlock in this game, which means that you can only form platonic relationships between your characters. That being said, it’s still possible to achieve A rank supports for most of the characters, and in some cases, the characters do hint towards deepening their relationships with each other. For instance, Balthus drops a couple of subtle hints here and there about his possible feelings for Edelgard, but that’s about as far as it goes.
Expedition Dates
Similar to the Tea Time feature from Three Houses, players can also go on mini dates with characters by inviting them on Expeditions. During these events, you can strike up a conversation with a character, and you’ll get a large support boost if you manage to select all of the right responses. If you get a perfect conversation, you’ll be able to move the camera around and interact with the character, but that’s about it.
Unique Gifts
The player character can also gift their Merc Whistle key item to any character they have an A rank support with, but this doesn’t unlock any romance options, and only rewards you with a unique accessory that can be equipped in battle. Basically, for folks who were hoping for romantic connections with the Garreg Mach students, you’ll have better luck sticking with Three Houses.
